Lake Ariana by sunset, 2025 - watercolor painting

"Lake Ariana by sunset", originally painted on 100% cotton watercolor LANA paper.

This location depicts one of the nice places in the city centre of Sofia, Bulgaria. The story behind this piece is a scene from one of our early dates with my now fiancé. While walking around the city, we passed by the lake Ariana by sunset and I had to capture it, so anytime I look at this painting it brings a warm feeling and the memory takes me back of what a wonderful day that was.
